Promote sustainable solutions for maritime cultural tourism. This is the objective of ADRIJOROUTES project, financed by the Italy-Croatia Program 2021-2027, to enhance the environmental and social sustainability of the tourism sector in the Adriatic area, actively involving operators and stakeholders of the maritime, cultural and tourism sectors at local and international level.
The project intends to continue and deepen the path undertaken by the Adrijo network (Adriatic Ports Cultural Network), feeding the www.adrijo.eu platform with new and innovative content to integrate the port cultural offer with the local territories of the eight ports involved: Ancona, Venice, Trieste, Ravenna, Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Split.
Among the planned actions, the Central Adriatic Ports Authority intends to create new digital content for the System's cruise ports, shaping new cultural itineraries to integrate and valorize the maritime dimension with the local territory, benefiting the port-city relationship. Promotional activities are also planned to involve the main stakeholders, including cruise company representatives, to share and promote the local tourist and cultural offer.
The project, with a total budget of €2.662.685,40 (of which €2.130.148,32 relating to the ERDF contribution), has a duration of 30 months starting from the 1st February 2024 and involves the following subjects.
